ServiceNow acquires Israeli data startup Pyramid Analytics for hundreds of millions
U.S. IT giant ServiceNow is acquiring Israeli company Pyramid Analytics, a provider of a unified, AI-based platform for business analytics, data science, and data preparation, in a deal reportedly worth several hundred million dollars. This marks the company’s second acquisition in a short period, following the $7.75 billion purchase of Israeli cybersecurity firm Armis less than two months ago.
The acquisition is expected to accelerate ServiceNow’s vision of helping organizations turn data into action by embedding intelligence directly into operational workflows. Pyramid Analytics’ platform allows business users to ask questions in natural language and receive immediate responses, without waiting for data teams. For example, AI-driven insights can automatically identify problems, open and route cases, and recommend the best next actions.
