Zimmer Biomet and OneStep to deliver digital mobility analytics in orthopaedics
Zimmer Biomet has entered an exclusive partnership with OneStep, a digital fall prevention and mobility intelligence platform, to deliver a comprehensive set of digital mobility analytics in orthopaedics. This agreement aims to support surgeons in tracking recovery after joint replacement surgery. It will leverage OneStep’s gait and mobility analytics, collected via Android and iPhone smartphones.
These analytics will be directly integrated into Zimmer Biomet’s mymobility care management platform, designed for orthopaedic surgery patients.
The integration allows users to access daily insights throughout their joint replacement process, from pre-surgical preparation to post-operative recovery, using their smartphones alone.
The integration allows for the remote evaluation of gait and functional mobility, utilising OneStep’s technology within the mymobility app.
